General Product Description
Lamisil tablets are for the treatment of fungal infections in the skin and hardening and scaling in the treatment of systemic fungal infections such as thrush, shea, AME and P. pellets. For secondary fungal infections, treatment should start in the first signs of infection such as a burning sensation in the mouth, throat, or eyes, which may be accompanied by severe vomiting, loss of appetite, itching or swelling of the skin, reddening of the mouth and throat, fever and diarrhea. Treatment may be started as soon as possible after the skin infection has appeared. If treatment is continued for more than 4 days after the infection appears, a longer course of treatment may be required. Treatment should be continued for 3 months or until clearing of the infection. Lamisil tablets are not indicated in children under 12 years of age. If treatment is continued for more than 6 months after the infection appears, a longer course of treatment may be required. Lamisil tablets are not indicated in women.
Directions
Adults and children from 12 years: The usual dose is one 250 mg tablet taken daily with water.
